Getting ready to head out on Tuesday to San Francisco for my first major academic conference. It should be a really great experience and that it is in San Francisco is even more exciting.

hey this is michelle. I wanted to tell you that I have actually quite enjoyed your tweets/pics this past week. it has been a wonderful way for me to be "with you" on your trip. (I could do without the @messages though...can't tell if they are you or from the person following the @, but they never make sense, and sometimes are vulgar! no like!)
